    Mark A. Reid, a lawyer practicing family law in Huntsville, Ontario, has written an article for the Huntsville Forester on regulations concerning the impact of marital separation on pension holders. The article describes new provincial legislation, taking effect this month, which will allow a pension holder to transfer a lump sum to his or her spouse’s locked-in savings fund as a means of equalizing the value of the pension.
